About the coach

I’m a board-certified pediatrician and an ICF-trained coach, passionate about supporting physicians through career transitions, burnout, and moments of uncertainty or change. I use the International Coaching Federation’s non-directive, partnership-based approach to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your values, clarify your goals, and reconnect with your sense of purpose.

Today, I work with physicians, residents, and medical students who are ready to clarify what matters, rethink what they want from their careers, and take steps toward a path that feels more sustainable and aligned. Coaching offers space to explore it all, with someone who understands both the weight of the decision and the desire for something different.

If you’re ready to start that conversation, I’d be honored to partner with you.

Professional background

After nearly 15 years in research, I entered medical school later in life. By my third year, I began to question whether becoming a physician was the right path, but the financial investment made it feel impossible to turn back. I completed medical school and a pediatrics residency, where the intense pressure and lack of support deeply impacted my mental health. I felt isolated and overwhelmed, unsure how to move forward.

After residency, I accepted an outpatient pediatric position in a rural community. Surrounded by a kind and capable group of physicians, I found my footing and discovered that while becoming a physician may not have been the perfect fit, pediatrics absolutely was. I loved working with children!

Over time, though, the grind of daily clinic life led to burnout. I transitioned into a part-time leadership role to regain balance and became a wellness advocate for physicians in my organization. After nine years in that role, I moved into a non-clinical position as a medical director with a global pharmaceutical company in the UK. That move gave me the freedom to train as a transformational coach and begin working with other physicians who were navigating similar questions and transitions.

Personal background

I’m married with a grown stepdaughter and stay close with my three siblings and their families. I have a close circle of friends I turn to for support and connection. I’m also a passionate world traveler and have lived and worked in the UK on two occasions for extended periods. I strive to live in alignment with my core values—family, community, service, and fun—in both my personal life and my work with clients.
