I completed my medical degree in Leiden, The Netherlands whilst also obtaining a small-medium business certificate. Straight after graduation I launched my first business which provided me with a stable side income. Next to that I continued to enhance my clinical career in emergency medicine and now I have transitioned to general practice / family medicine.
After 9 years in emergency medicine, I experienced a burnout. This left me jobless and without an income to pay my bills. I was happy that I could rely on my (passive) income streams that I had built up throughout the years. Being a medical entrepreneur is not easy, yet the satisfaction I get from finding solutions to every problem is worth the sweat.
